Sold A French 70 Piece Partial Dinner Service Circa 1890

This charming dinner service was made by Cauldon of England, but for the French market and has the mark of E. Bourgeois, Paris. The pattern, “chantry,” is an interesting one that features various flowers and fruit expressed in different combinations. The set consists of 23 dinner plates, 19 salad plates, and 17 soup plates. It also features one 16.5” oval platter, one 15” platter, three 12” round platters, two 13” round platters, one covered tureen with underdish, one small covered tureen, three footed dishes, and four celery dishes.
