A French Dinner Service in Papillon Pattern Circa 1900

This partial dinner service in an engaging pattern with butterflies and flowers was made by Creil & Montereau. It is french Ironstone, known as “terre de fer.” The set consists of 8 soup plates and 19 dinner plates. Platters include; one oval, one large round, one medium round, and one smaller round. There are two covered serving dishes, one sauce tureen, and two footed dishes.
