A French Forty Piece Partial Dinner Service Circa 1900

Laurel wreaths and ribbons frame this charming set of French ironstone. This pattern, called “Chinon”, is probably named after the ancient city of Chinon, France. Located in the Vienne River Valley, the Chateau de Chinon was the home to French kings during the 14th and 15th centuries. This set of dinner, salad, and soup plates is marked H.T Boulanger.
