This French partial dinner service comes from a restaurant in Avallon, France called Au Pauvre Diable, which is in the Burgundy region. The impressive building was originally a Confectionary store at the turn of the century. When it later became a restaurant the name was retained. The partial dinner service consists of, 36 dinner plates, 18 soup plates, 10 desert plates, 1 fish platter, 1 oval platter, 1 large bowl, marked K&G Luneville, France. Each piece has a charming “Au Pauvre Diable, Avallon” logo in the center.
