SOLD A Set of Four Swedish Gustavian Period Dining Chairs, circa 1800

This set of four beautifully detailed chairs bear the fruit and flower carvings of the hops plant, the signature of the Lindome furniture maker’s guild in Sweden. The wooden backs, with slats forming a fan shape, are framed by intricately carved sides. These chairs are an example of the finest Swedish workmanship. The grey paint surface is original.
