These elegant Gustavian Period chairs were made by the skilled craftsman of the Stockholm Guild in the late 18th century. They are both decorative and comfortable, with a carved open work motif and a curved upholstered back. The traces of white paint remaining are original. The legs, both back and front, are refined and gently tapered. They have been upholstered in a linen fabric.
