This charming Swedish Folk Art painting depicts a very prominent estate in Halsingland, where water power was used in manufacturing. The painting probably decorated the wall in this house and was removed sometime later with its original wood frame. This important house had two wings and high obelisks inside a fence with a river gate entrance. The painting has two old repairs and has been cleaned. Late 18th to early 19th century.
