This elegant chair is a beautiful example of the best of Gustavian style with its sleek reeded back splats in the lotus pattern and detailed carvings on the legs and apron. The pale grey paint is original and has a beautiful patina. The chairs have been upholstered in a French linen fabric that happened to have two hand embroidered “M” initials which we left adding to its charm!
