A rare matched set of eight Gustavian period chairs each stamped with the signature of Nils Svensson, Lindome chairmaker 1757- 1801. Svensson lived and worked in Skaggered, a small town in the district of Lindome. The chairs retain traces of the original blue paint and have beautiful details with a cutout diamond pattern beneath the upholstered back and tassels carved on the legs.
