These exceptional footstools not only have their original paint, but the apron shows a carved Greek wave on all four sides. The Greek wave is an uncommon motif in Swedish furniture and was inspired by King Gustav’s love of the classical style. The blue grey paint is original and shows nice wear from age on the four legs. They have been covered in a vintage off-white linen fabric.
