This charming pair of footstools have curved beautiful carvings, typical of the Gustavian period, around the apron. The reeded legs are accented at the top with a half-moon medallion and show the detailed work of a master craftsman. The round form is somewhat unusual. The stools are chair height making them very comfortable to pull up at a table. They have been reupholstered in a French linen fabric.
