SOLD A Rare Gustavian Period Tall Case Mora Clock, circa 1780

This unusual clock has a lyre motif on the door and was probably commissioned for a music room. The elegant cutout design of the door is backed with pleated blue silk. There is an extra element of a collar with dental molding below the bonnet. The face is signed Anders Son and Mora, the area in which it was made. The pale blue/grey paint surface is original.
