This antique blue bowl with traces of original pale blue paint has a ribbed design at the top. It was mainly used to serve porridge. Porridge was a staple on the menu in the Swedish homes at this time. The bowl would be placed in the middle of the table and each person ate directly from it with their wooden spoons.
