This provincial, work or writing table, has a single drawer with a hand carved design of diamonds, each with a central petal. The green paint surface is untouched and original, as is the scrubbed top. The slightly curved and tapered legs have been extended. It comes from the region of Härjedalen, in the center of Sweden.
