A Swedish Green Painted Mora Clock of Diminutive Size, Circa 1820

This sweet little clock has a lot of charm with decorative details surrounding the large round bonnet and carved swags draped elegantly on the front. It has many wonderful and unusual features, among them a wooden face still retaining the original paint and a unique subsidiary seconds hand, which is not often seen on Swedish clocks. The face is signed by the maker M. E. Renarberg. The movement itself has been serviced and the clock is in running order. It was repainted at some time in the past a pleasing pale green.
