The spectacular thing about this chair is the original blue paint throughout. The arms show signs of wear that comes only with age and use. The center leg and back splats are pure examples of the Rococo style. The seat is covered in a beige linen fabric. In addition to being called a “Hörnstol,” translated in English as “corner chair,” they are also known as a “Skrivstol” or a “writing chair”. This is because their design, with a larger seat that extends pasts the armrests, allows a writer to pull up close and comfortably sit at a table to write. It is a great chair to be used in a living room or pulled up to a secretary.
