These 2 miniature jardinieres are charming copies of Versailles boxes originally developed in France to move plants inside during the winter. They are faux bois cast iron featuring a peak on each corner. The raised decorative designs on all 4 sides resemble the hinges of the originals and are dry scraped to their original surface. A structural repair has been made to one corner, however it is not noticeable. These Jardinieres are fine enough to be used inside.
