A Pair of Swedish Gustavian Period Side Chairs in Old Green Paint Circa 1800

Although not marked, these chairs are likely from Stockholm due to the openwork at the back. They have detailed carving framing an upholstered back, and elegant front legs with acanthus leaf carvings which are typical of the Gustavian period. The old green paint surface is in good condition.
