These chairs were made in Stockholm by craftsmen of the Stockholm Guild, and likely once had a place of honor in the salon of a castle or manor house. With beautiful carvings at the crest and a generous width, they have an elegant proportion which combines both comfort and style. They are painted a cool grey, with traces of the original wood surface showing through and are upholstered in an off-white linen fabric.
