It is extraordinary to think that this beautiful cupboard still has the original rippled old glass after 259 years. This achievement speaks to the place of honor it must have had in the many Swedish manor houses it lived. It has beautiful carvings on both the doors and sides, and an elegant curve at the center, typical of the Baroque period. The old blue paint is in great condition. The brasses are period appropriate.
