This Slagbord table circa 1800 has a wonderful patina on its original light blue-grey paint. Two pairs of graceful legs fold out to support the top when extented. Slagbord tables were loved for their utility and adaptability; a table could be folded down and with relative ease moved aside when extra space was needed. The structure of this almost square table is solid and expertly joined.
