This hand carved bowl with handles from the north of Sweden has an unusual shape with a flat bottom surface making it very stable for storing food, such as potatoes or winter vegetables. The interior is painted a lovely shade of pale cream. There is a repair on one side where a knot in the wood fell out and the hole was filled with lead.
